Tish Kanat and Lynda Dimond were extremely helpful in the purchase of our first home. As first time home buyers in a buyer-friendly market we were aware that we were positioned to allow ourselves to be choosy regarding our choice of a realtor, thus it was very important to us to work with folks who aligned well with our needs and philosophies. We found Tish Kanat to be wonderful in this regard. From our perspective, the following areas are where Tish and the Dimond Team set themselves apart from the pack:
· Communication: Tish and Lynda were extremely proactive to communicate to us any potential challenges with loans, timing, offers, etc. This allowed us to proactively plan for eventualities. Additionally, Tish independently recognized the importance of continued communication especially during timing of uncertainty. We had some challenges along the way that caused some timing hiccups; Tish checked in with us regularly to update us on any changes and even to update us that there was no update at that time! This help to ease our concerns and gave us the comfort that the Dimond Team was working as a team with us as well.
· Market Understanding: Tish was well versed in the market dynamics that were in play during the timing of our home purchase and helped us to understand how this affected timing, pricing, flexibility of sellers, potential changes upcoming and appraisal impacts. This insight provided significant aid to the strategy of how, why and when we approached varies aspects of the buying process.
· Resources: Tish and Lynda were able to provide us with references for a variety of services we expect to need in our new home. Additionally, we were very pleased with their references for the home inspections we chose to implement.
· Understanding the Client: As this was our first home purchase we had a rough view of what we were looking for in a home, but were sometimes a bit scattered with our thinking. Tish was able to perceive our interests and hone in on the areas of importance to both my husband and myself after only a short time of our working relationship. This allowed her to maximize our time together as she had previewed properties prior to our meeting and communicated her view of what we would like and dislike about each one. Her perceptive skills helped us to focus our interests and find a home that we absolutely love!
All in all, we sincerely appreciated the level of professionalism, empathy and hard work displayed by Tish and Lynda and will be recommending them to our friends and colleagues in the future.
